Shipping Policy

Last updated: September 10, 2026

This Shipping Policy describes the shipping and delivery practices of Ant's Sketchbook for physical artwork and other physical products purchased through the store.

By placing an order requiring physical shipment, you agree to this Shipping Policy in addition to our Terms of Service, Returns & Refunds Policy, and Privacy Policy.

Physical and Digital Products

This Shipping Policy primarily applies to physical products that require shipment to a delivery address.

Digital artwork and other digital products are delivered electronically and are not subject to physical shipping times, shipping rates, carrier procedures, or physical delivery requirements described in this Policy.

Terms concerning refunds or delivery issues involving digital products are addressed in our Returns & Refunds Policy and Terms of Service.

Order Processing

Physical orders require processing before shipment.

Processing times may vary depending on the product, order volume, availability, packaging requirements, holidays, carrier schedules, and other circumstances.

Any processing or delivery estimate displayed on the store is an estimate rather than a guarantee unless Ant's Sketchbook expressly agrees otherwise.

Original artwork, limited pieces, specialty items, made-to-order products, or unusually sized or fragile items may require additional processing time to ensure appropriate packaging and handling.

Shipping Rates

Applicable shipping charges will ordinarily be displayed during checkout before an order is submitted.

Shipping rates may depend on factors including:

  • delivery destination;
  • package dimensions and weight;
  • selected shipping service;
  • carrier rates;
  • product type;
  • insurance or signature requirements; and
  • special packaging or handling requirements.

The customer is responsible for reviewing applicable shipping charges before completing a purchase.

Shipping Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address when placing an order.

Before submitting an order, please verify all shipping information, including:

  • recipient name;
  • street address;
  • apartment, suite, or unit number where applicable;
  • city;
  • state, province, or region;
  • postal or ZIP code; and
  • country.

Ant's Sketchbook is not responsible for delivery problems resulting from incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or otherwise inaccurate shipping information supplied by the customer, except to the extent required by applicable law.

Address Changes

If you discover an error in your shipping address, contact Ant's Sketchbook as soon as possible.

We may attempt to correct the address if the order has not yet been shipped, but an address change cannot be guaranteed after fulfillment has begun.

Once an order has been transferred to a shipping carrier, Ant's Sketchbook may be unable to modify its destination.

Customers may be responsible for additional shipping or handling costs resulting from an incorrect address or requested address change.

Shipping Confirmation and Tracking

Where tracking is available, customers may receive shipping confirmation containing carrier and tracking information after an order has been dispatched.

Tracking information may take time to become active after a shipping label is generated or the package is transferred to the carrier.

Customers are encouraged to monitor tracking information and make reasonable arrangements to receive valuable or time-sensitive shipments.

Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery estimates provided by Ant's Sketchbook, Shopify, or a shipping carrier are provided for convenience and are not guaranteed delivery dates unless expressly stated otherwise.

Actual delivery times may be affected by circumstances outside the reasonable control of Ant's Sketchbook, including:

  • carrier delays;
  • weather;
  • natural disasters;
  • transportation interruptions;
  • labor disruptions;
  • holidays;
  • customs processing;
  • government actions;
  • incorrect or incomplete addresses;
  • unusually high shipping volume; or
  • other unforeseen events.

Ant's Sketchbook is not responsible for reasonable carrier delays outside its control, subject to applicable law.

Original, Valuable, or Fragile Artwork

Certain physical artwork may require additional protective packaging, insurance, tracking, or signature confirmation because of its value, dimensions, fragility, or uniqueness.

Ant's Sketchbook may select an appropriate shipping and packaging method based on the characteristics of the purchased artwork.

Where signature confirmation is required, the customer is responsible for making reasonable arrangements for an authorized person to receive the shipment.

Delivery Confirmation

A shipment may be considered delivered when the applicable shipping carrier records the package as delivered to the shipping address supplied with the order, subject to the circumstances of the particular shipment and applicable law.

Carrier records may include:

  • tracking history;
  • delivery scans;
  • delivery date and time;
  • delivery location information;
  • photographic delivery confirmation where available;
  • recipient or signature information where applicable; and
  • other carrier-generated fulfillment records.

These records may be used to investigate delivery issues and establish the shipment and delivery history of an order.

Packages Marked Delivered but Not Received

If carrier tracking indicates that a package has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please first:

  • verify the shipping address associated with the order;
  • check the delivery location and surrounding property;
  • check with other members of the household or authorized recipients;
  • check with building management, reception, mailrooms, or neighbors where appropriate; and
  • contact the shipping carrier regarding the delivery.

You should also notify Ant's Sketchbook promptly so that we can review the available fulfillment and tracking information.

A carrier's delivery confirmation will be considered as part of our investigation but does not prevent Ant's Sketchbook from reviewing credible evidence of a genuine delivery problem.

Lost Shipments

If tracking does not show successful delivery and a shipment appears to have been lost in transit, contact Ant's Sketchbook.

Depending on the circumstances, Ant's Sketchbook may initiate or assist with a carrier inquiry or claim.

Where Ant's Sketchbook determines that an order was lost before delivery, an appropriate remedy may include replacement, reshipment, or refund, depending on product availability, insurance coverage, the nature of the artwork, and applicable law.

Because original or one-of-one artwork may not be replaceable, the available remedy for such an item may differ from the remedy available for reproducible products.

Damaged Shipments

Customers should inspect physical orders reasonably promptly after delivery.

If artwork or another product arrives damaged, contact Ant's Sketchbook as soon as reasonably possible.

We may request:

  • photographs of the damaged item;
  • photographs of the exterior and interior packaging;
  • photographs of shipping labels;
  • the applicable order number;
  • a description of the damage; and
  • other information reasonably necessary to investigate the shipment or submit a carrier or insurance claim.

Customers should retain the product and original packaging while a damage claim is being reviewed unless instructed otherwise.

Available remedies for damaged products are governed by our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable law.

Returned-to-Sender Shipments

A shipment may be returned to Ant's Sketchbook because of circumstances including:

  • an incorrect or incomplete address;
  • refusal of delivery;
  • inability to complete delivery;
  • failure to collect a held package; or
  • other carrier-determined delivery problems.

If an order is returned to sender due to information or circumstances attributable to the customer, additional shipping charges may apply before the order is shipped again.

A returned-to-sender shipment does not automatically qualify for a refund. Any refund eligibility will be determined under our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable law.

Refused Deliveries

Refusing delivery does not automatically constitute an authorized return or cancellation.

Customers seeking to return an eligible product should follow the procedures established in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

Costs incurred as a result of an unauthorized refusal, including return shipping or carrier fees, may be deducted from an otherwise eligible refund where permitted by law.

International Shipping

Where international shipping is offered, customers are responsible for providing accurate destination information and complying with applicable import requirements.

International shipments may be subject to:

  • customs processing;
  • import duties;
  • tariffs;
  • taxes;
  • brokerage fees;
  • carrier fees; or
  • other governmental charges.

Unless expressly stated otherwise during checkout, such charges are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in the product price or shipping charge collected by Ant's Sketchbook.

Ant's Sketchbook does not control customs authorities and cannot guarantee the time required for customs clearance.

Customs and Import Restrictions

Customers purchasing products for international delivery are responsible for determining whether the products may lawfully be imported into the destination jurisdiction.

Ant's Sketchbook may cancel an order if we determine that shipment cannot reasonably or lawfully be completed.

We are not responsible for delays, seizures, refusals, or additional charges imposed by customs or other governmental authorities where caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, subject to applicable law.

Shipping Insurance

Ant's Sketchbook may purchase shipping insurance for certain orders based on the value, rarity, fragility, destination, or other characteristics of the shipment.

If an insured shipment is lost or damaged, customers may be required to provide reasonable documentation or cooperate with the carrier or insurer so that a claim can be submitted.

Insurance coverage does not necessarily create an independent entitlement to payment directly from the insurer or to a remedy beyond those otherwise available under the applicable purchase terms.

Fraud Prevention and Shipping Verification

To protect customers and Ant's Sketchbook against fraudulent transactions, we may review orders before shipment and may use information reasonably available through Shopify, payment processors, fraud-prevention services, or other providers.

Where an order presents a material risk of fraud or unauthorized payment activity, Ant's Sketchbook may, where permitted by law:

  • delay fulfillment while the transaction is reviewed;
  • request reasonable verification;
  • contact the customer concerning the order;
  • cancel the transaction; or
  • refund the payment rather than ship the order.

Ant's Sketchbook is not obligated to fulfill an order that we reasonably determine involves fraudulent or unauthorized payment activity.

Shipping Records and Payment Disputes

Ant's Sketchbook maintains or may have access to records relating to order fulfillment and delivery.

In connection with a refund request, suspected fraud, payment dispute, or chargeback, relevant evidence may include:

  • the shipping address provided at checkout;
  • order and fulfillment records;
  • shipping labels;
  • carrier information;
  • tracking history;
  • acceptance scans;
  • delivery scans;
  • delivery photographs where available;
  • signature confirmation;
  • customer communications; and
  • other information reasonably relevant to the shipment.

Where permitted by applicable law, relevant records may be provided to Shopify, payment processors, card networks, financial institutions, shipping carriers, insurers, fraud-prevention providers, dispute administrators, or other appropriate parties for purposes of investigating or responding to a transaction dispute.

Personal information used for these purposes is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Chargebacks Concerning Delivery

Customers who experience a legitimate shipping or delivery problem are strongly encouraged to contact Ant's Sketchbook so that the shipment can be investigated.

Nothing in this Shipping Policy restricts any lawful right a customer may have to dispute a transaction.

However, Ant's Sketchbook reserves the right to contest a chargeback or payment dispute where available evidence indicates that the order was properly shipped or delivered or where the claim otherwise appears materially inconsistent with the documented transaction.

Carrier tracking, delivery confirmation, signature records, customer communications, and other relevant fulfillment evidence may be submitted in response to such a dispute.

Relationship to the Returns & Refunds Policy

This Shipping Policy governs shipment and physical delivery practices.

Eligibility for returns, exchanges, replacements, cancellations, or refunds is governed by the Returns & Refunds Policy.

If a shipment is lost, damaged, returned to sender, refused, or otherwise experiences a delivery problem, the remedy available will be determined under the Returns & Refunds Policy, applicable purchase terms, and applicable law.

Legal Rights

Nothing in this Shipping Policy is intended to exclude, restrict, or waive consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or waived.

If applicable law conflicts with a provision of this Policy, the applicable legal requirement will control to the extent of the conflict.

Changes to This Shipping Policy

Ant's Sketchbook may update this Shipping Policy from time to time to reflect changes in shipping carriers, fulfillment practices, products, business operations, or applicable legal requirements.

Revisions will be posted through the Services with an updated revision date.

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the version of the Shipping Policy in effect when an order is placed will generally govern that shipment.
